TAIKES is a Swedish rock band with obvious influences ranging from Nirvana to Placebo. The band have toured all over Sweden and even Mexico twice.
TAIKES was created in 2002 while Johan Fredin (guitars-vocals), Alex Hedling (bass) were still in high school. By 2005 the band had developed their sound and recorded their first EP “Life Support”. They headed back into the studio in 2006 to record their first full length album, “Dreamcatcher” which sold out of first pressing on first tour to Mexico. The band spent much of summer 2009 working on their second studio album, scheduled for digital release November 17th.
