Indie electro rock outfit Aerodrone definitely takes you for a ride you're not expecting with its poppy synth-driven energetic hooks and tounge-in-cheek lyrics that dig in deeper than your familiar electro-fluff band. After drawing comparisons to The Killers and The Faint, the band gained over 2 million plays on Myspace.com, was handpicked for the Myspace Records marketing deal, and had the single "Ready To Love" mixed by Mark Needham (producer of The Killers, InnerParty System, Metro Station).
The band has also spawned a crazed Youtube following of fans making videos of them reciting Aerodrone's songs and has been described by the Knitting Factory in Hollywood as "destined for great things, at least the conquering of all iPods in the free world." The band also got play on LA's leading rock station KROQ and Portland's 94.7FM has also selected Aerodrone as one of the 5 finalists in a contest to open for The Killers.
